What is #Time4Trees15 ? It is the 11th annual Christmas Themed Benefit hosted by the Randolph County Extension Homemakers at the Randolph County Fairgrounds. Each year groups and individuals along with businesses donate Christmas Decorations, Decorated 3' and 4' Christmas Trees, and Gift Certificates. And that just scratches the surface of everything donated for this Silent Auction that benefits the Winchester Churches and Community Service Shalom Center Food Pantry. Each year this gets better and better.
This year is the first year for the talent contest. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 contestants in each age bracket.
The food pantry will also be there at the door, so entry into this event is a free will offering and/or a nonperishable food item (no out of date food items can be accepted).
Come and enjoy a cookie, a cup of punch and some great local talent while bidding for items to decorate your home or for some great Christmas Gifts :)
Doors open at 11 am at Husted Hall and bidding will begin at 3 pm (until 6:45 pm).
Talent Show will begin at 4:30 pm, come early and claim your chair for this fun entertainment.
Also during the evening Santa will be available to those little talks and photos too and Mrs. Claus' Kitchen will also serve up some tasty things, her elves are busy planning all kinds of goodies.
Many of the Extension Homemaker Clubs will also have items for sale at their tables, and all the money raised for these direct sales also goes to the food pantry.
Plan on joining us for a fun Thursday Night, mark your calendar now for November 19, 2015.
