 What a week, we are so grateful to all who have volunteered to help in the kitchen this year, and for those of you who have purchased food items from us.  We strive to serve tummy filling, good food options and at an affordable price.  

This is our big fundraiser for the year.  With that we keep the kitchen stocked with equipment and such things; but we also then in turn support our community through gifts, projects, lessons to make life better and more.

Breakfast 7am to 9am

Lunch 11am to 2pm

Dinner 5pm to 8:30pm

Fair Week 2022 - Wednesday in the Randolph County Indiana Extension Homemakers' Kitchen Menus for the day

 Hey, it's going to be a scorcher day out there.  Take lots of breaks and lots of water.  If you feel like you are getting over heated, drink some warmer water, it will rehydrate you faster.  Come in to the dinning room and cool off with something to drink in the AC.  Take it easy.

We are low on help in the kitchen today...so please be patient with us as we serve meals today.  We can use volunteers today, please stop by if you can help during a shift.  See Tanda Able, Leigh Ann Chalfant or Marie Jackson to get on the schedule.  Come to the kitchen/dinning room to ask to see one of the above chairwomen or txt Marie at 765 744 2668.

 Sounds like it might be a scorcher of a day....come on in and cool off, have a meal or a cold drink and a piece of pie.  We will have cold milk, bottled water (cold!) and tea and lemonade even in between meals.

Wow, we went through 50 pounds of Chicken Tenders on Monday...

Thank You to all of our extension homemaker clubs, volunteer clubs like the Lions and 4-H'ers and other volunteers...we couldn't do this without YOU!  That being said, we still need volunteers for several shifts in the kitchen and service line and cleaning team.  Come to the kitchen to volunteer for a shift, you get a free meal during the shift you work.  See Tanda Able, Leigh Ann Chalfant or Marie Jackson to schedule a shift or two.  You can also contact Marie via txt 765 744 2668

 Ahhh, the day after the rain....come on in for some comfort food today.  Have you visited our Open Class Exhibit in Husted Hall yet?  What is your favorite?  Which one has inspired you to try your own and enter the Open Class in 2023?

Please consider helping us out in the Extension Homemakers's Kitchen for a shift or even two.  Please stop by to talk with Marie to see if you can sign up.  Marie is in the kitchen during the lunch shift or you can send her a txt at 765 744 2668.  All shift workers get to eat free during their shift, except for the Pork Producers' Pork Monday Evening.

Today's Menus ...  Breakfast (7am to 9am)

If you can help in a shift during the fair we would greatly appreciate it.  See Marie in the Kitchen during the Lunch Time in person or text her at 765 744 2668.  You can have a free meal during that shift (hello piece of pie :)

 We've been scrubbing and stocking up for Fair Week 2022 in the Randolph County Extension Homemakers' Kitchen.  The tables and chairs are waiting for you.  Things will be sizzling in the kitchen starting with Breakfast on Saturday, July 16.

There are many shifts this Fair Week that needs your help.

Please stop by the kitchen to see when you could help cook/serve/clean.

All workers get a free meal during their working shift.

Lunch is served 11am to 2pm

Dinner is served 5pm to 8:30pm

We've sponsored the 26th annual Open Class Exhibition and all items entered are now on display to view and be inspired.  Visit Husted Hall on the North End to see all the talent displayed.

Fair Week Festivities of the Randolph County Indiana Extension Homemakers (Saturday July 17, 2021)

 Welcome to the Randolph County Indiana Extension Homemakers' Fair Kitchen.... Are you hankering for some stick to your ribs meals?  Needing some pie, cup of coffee or some French fries? 

We will be serving Breakfast (Saturday - Thursday) 7am to 10am.

Noon Meal (Saturday - Thursday) 11am - 2pm.

Evening Meal (Saturday - Wednesday) 4:30pm - 8:30pm.

Saturday's Menu.

Breakfast - 1/2 slice ham, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage Gravy & Biscuit, Donuts, Rolls, Biscuits, Fruit, Orange Juice, Coffee, Milk, Chocolate Milk, Toast, Bottled Water.  Take out will be available.

Noon - Beef & Noodles, Mashed Potatoes, Ham Sandwich, Pork BBQ Sandwich, Chef Salad, French Fries, Potato Salad, Apple Sauce, Cottage Cheese, Fruit Cocktail, Tomato Slices, Assorted Pies, Coffee, Milk, Chocolate Milk, Tea and Lemonade, Bottled Water.  Take Out will be available.

Evening - Swiss Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Ham Sandwich, Tenderloin Sandwich,  Chef Salad, French Fries, Potato Salad, Apple Sauce, Cottage Cheese, Fruit Cocktail, Tomato Slices, Assorted Pies, Coffee, Milk, Chocolate Milk, Tea and Lemonade, Bottled Water.  Take Out will be available.

Pie, drinks available in between meals.

Randolph County Indiana Extension Homemakers; individuals + Apron Strings Club, County Officers and Food Stand Committee, Sugar'N Spice Club along with Eastern Star and Republicans are working on Saturday for various shifts.
